The beautiful city of Marbella is located  on the Mediterrarean coast line about 60 kilometers southwest from Malaga, in the foothills of the Sierra Blanca

The population in Marbella is over 140,000 people but as a popular holiday destination it is visited by millions of people every year.

You can find a large variety of restaurants in the city, from tapas bars to Michelin star restaurants. Marbella has lots of parks and gardens and a charming old town. Marbella's beautiful beach promenade is about 7 km long and attracts people to admire the scenery. Marbella's location near the Strait of Gibraltar makes the area a great destination for dolphin and whale watching. A strong population of dolphins lives in the sea areas near the Strait of Gibraltar, and the strait is also a significant passageway for whales.

The most famous spot in Marbella is the yacht harbor of Puerto Banus, which is located about 5 km from the city center. The harbor is full of luxury brand stores and high-class restaurants. The main attraction are the luxury yachts from all over the world and night clubs that are open until the morning. In Puerto Banus you can see every luxury car from Ferraris to Lamborghinis. Partly for this reason, Marbella and Puerto Banus have gained a reputation as a holiday destination for the rich and royalty.
